Subject: + delegated optional single-object-external mish-mash to
 src/Makefile.am using AM_CONDITIONAL + for --enable-object-externals builds,
 install actual links for 'any2string', 'string2any' aliases   - requires
 corresponding setup() routines in *bytes* + added printbytes, printwchars
 objects
